既製の絵画と額縁を支持体とし、そのガラス面と額縁を油絵具で覆った。塗布と掻き取りを繰り返すことで、既存のイメージは隠蔽と露出のあいだを往復する。描かれた像ではなく、その上に生じる表面そのものを作品として扱う。

Using a found painting and its frame as a support, oil paint is applied to both the glass and the frame. Through repeated painting and scraping, the existing image moves between concealment and exposure. Rather than creating a new image, the work focuses on the surface that emerges through this process.
